Founded around 2015, the CCC South Asia Coalition (CCC SAC) brings together Trade Union Federations, Workers' Rights Organisations, and research institutions, working on the Ready Made Garment (RMG) sector, from across Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Nepal. The coalition’s 29 members, partners and allies work to uphold and extend workers' rights through advocacy, campaigning and mobilisation, with a particular focus on Freedom of Association, Occupational Safety and Health, Minimum Wage revision, Gender-Based Violence and Harassment, and brand accountability.

13 years on from the Ali Enterprise incident, and 12 years on from the Rana Plaza collapse, despite the claims of brands and factories, many workplaces are still unsafe, and many workers still deprived for their rights to fair wages and safe factories. CCC SAC has actively participated in minimum wage review processes in countries across the region, and campaigned for the implementation of living wages and factory safety — particularly  through the formation of The RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) initiative, The Pakistan Accord, and now the International Accord on factory safety. CCC SA coalition aims to bring all major global brands under a single umbrella of legislation to ensure all global workers enjoy the same rights, and factory standards.
