Donate to make a difference

The Clean Clothes Campaign is a global movement of unions, workers and activists fighting for the rights of garment workers. We are proudly worker-led and independent.

We do not accept donations from companies which profits from garment production – not now, not ever. That's why we rely on support from people like you.

Will you make a donation?

Tax status

Clean Clothes Campaign/Schone Kleren Campagne is recognised as a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI) by the Dutch Tax Administration. This means that if you pay taxes in the Netherlands you can deduct your donation(s) to Clean Clothes Campaign/Schone Kleren Campagne from your taxable income, if all donations you make in a year add up to between 1 and 10 per cent of your aggregate income.
This also applies if you collect money during a clothing swap, party or other occasion and donate this amount to Clean Clothes Campaign.

If you plan to become a regular donor and pay taxes in the Netherlands, then you can consider a periodic donation agreement in which you lay down to support our work for a period of at least five years, with a fixed amount per year (minimum 75 euros per year). You can deduct this full amount on your income tax return. Interested? Please fill in this form on our Dutch website and e-mail it to donors[@]cleanclothes.org

Clean Clothes Campaign has an equivalency determination certification with NGOsource, and is therefore the equivalent of a U.S. public charity under the IRS' ED standards.
