Clean Clothes Campaign is recognised as a Public Benefit Organisation by the Dutch Tax Administration (ANBI). This means that if you pay taxes in the Netherlands you can deduct your donation(s) to the Clean Clothes Campaign from your taxable income, if all donations you make in a year add up to between 1 and 10 per cent of your aggregate income. This also applies if you collect money during a clothing swap, party or other occasion and donate this amount to Clean Clothes Campaign. If you plan to become a regular donor, then you can consider a periodic donation agreement in which you lay down to support our work for a period of at least five years, with a fixed amount per year (minimum 75 euros per year). Clean Clothes Campaign has an equivalency determination certification with NGOsource, and is therefore the equivalent of a U.S. public charity under the IRS' ED standards. Our existing legal analysis and ED certificate are available to US grantmakers upon request.
